WOW Uganda, what a time, what results beyond believe.
Training in Uganda!
John leech and I made our trip in June. My first trip to Africa, and I wonder why I waited. Foundations. I appreciate my friendship with John Leech. I learned on this trip that he began working in Uganda in 1985. John was instrumental in helping and supporting many of the ministries. As we went from place to place it was evident of his impact on the work in Uganda. I am excited to build on the work he did with the Global training system.
I look forward to finding men who catch the vision of making disciples and the global church growth system. That is why I am so excited about partnering with Fred Wangwa. He is now our new coordinator of Global Church Growth ministries in Uganda. Fred is a preacher and church planter and I look forward to working with such a leader. John baptized Fred a few years ago thus establishing another foundation for me to build on.
Please pray for John and his wife Sherry who is suffering from Alzheimer’s. John was consistently checking on her, but God continued to keep His hands on her while we were away.
I was excited about the response from all the church leaders that attended the training of the Global System. At this point there are 23 churches that have agreed to implement the system in their churches. The excitement in both the leaders and the membersof each church we visited were phenomenal. The openness to learn and get involved was refreshing. I look forward to the new adventure. John and I were also privileged to baptize 14 new disciples. Besides the two weekends of training, we were also blessed to meet with about 250 students.
Danial Auk, pictured left, is another phenomenal leader that leads 13 hostels
and about 850 students from 15 to 20. The goal is to train them to evangelize and go make disciples in the area and all over Uganda. My hope is to return next June to see the progress. I have already followed up with some training on zoom, and plan to continue training on zoom until I return next June, God willing. Pictured right is Nicolas. He is working at Livingston university and in August I will begin working with student training.
CUBA. Hoping to return to Cuba in September into October. A lot is planned for the next trip from training churches and following up with those that have been trained previously. Mandi (pictured right) has been a preacher in the Assemblies of God and overseer of 20 other churches in his region. After receiving training from me in the Global Church System Mandi declared that he was replacing the Assemblies format with the system God gave me, and the other 20 churches under him would also implement the system. This could lead to training 2,000 other churches. WOW, restoration movement. Mandi has also committed to helping our mission in following up with other churches.
George and I will first visit Havana and then some churches in the middle and maybe even in the west. Pictured left is Pablo who is working hard following up and training churches from the center to the west. Then I plan on traveling to the east where two big training sessions are planned. We will also spend time in our new institute building Manzanilla to prepare for our first institute classes next spring. More on all this when we return from Cuba.
Your book (The Most Valuable Treasure in the World) is great and precious as its name and is also so valuable. It is simple and powerful that the simple men could understand easily. I have never seen such a good book in my life. It is best for changing man’s life, leads men to Jesus and grows and nurtures the spiritual life of believers. If we can publish (5,000 copies) and when the book reaches to pastors, evangelists, missionaries and to every minister of God, it will be great blessings for our country if they use it for training and teaching. 10 Steps to Spiritual growth by Dr. Householder is needed too. These books are Most needed for Myanmar” -Yours friend in Christ, Richard Khum
